Dr. Anil Prasad Bhatt is a trailblazing nephrologist whose expertise and leadership have redefined kidney care across Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, and Uttarakhand. He serves as Director- Nephrology and Kidney Transplant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida and  HOD-Nephrology at Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, and while steering his entrepreneurial venture, Renacare Centre for Kidney Disease & Research as its founder. His illustrious career also includes past roles as Director of Nephrology at Fortis Hospital, Noida, and Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida, alongside affiliations with multiple esteemed institutions.

 

A graduate of GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, Dr. Bhatt completed his advanced training at AIIMS, New Delhi, earning a DM in Nephrology and Kidney Transplant. His journey took him from a brief tenure at Max Hospital, Mohali, to Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, where he established one of Delhi’s largest dialysis programs, offering advanced therapies like HDF and CRRT, and an affordable transplant initiative. Today, as Director-Nephrology  at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida (since 2014, formerly Jaypee Hospital) and HOD (Nephrology) at Holy Family Hospital ,New Delhi , he has overseen over 2,000 kidney transplants across institutions, including more than 1,000 at Max alone—featuring pioneering crossmatch-positive (first in 2017) and over 100 ABO-incompatible transplants with stellar outcomes.

 

In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, Dr. Bhatt launched Renacare Centre for Kidney Disease & Research(Renacare Dialysis Services ) in Noida to ensure accessible, high-quality care for patients who are unable to travel. This visionary start-up has grown to five centres—Motherland Hospital (Sector 119, Noida), Noida Multispeciality Hospital (Sector 66), Primacare Super Speciality Hospital (Sector 104), Apollo Hospital (Greater Noida), and Mahananda Hospital (Greater Noida)—delivering quality dialysis services , including online HDF, and a  Home Hemodialysis program for patients across NCR and Uttar Pradesh.

Parallel to Renacare, Dr. Bhatt leads dialysis operations across nine centres through his associations with Max Super Speciality Hospital (Noida),Holy Family Hospital (New Delhi), Motherland Hospital (Noida), Noida Multispeciality Hospital, Clearmedi Primacare Hospital (Noida), Apollo Spectra Hospital (Greater Noida), Yatharth Hospital (Greater Noida), Mahananda Hospital (Greater Noida), and Swami Vivekanand Hospital (Dharmawala, Dehradun). His team performs over 60,000 dialysis sessions annually, with Dr. Bhatt having supervised more than 500,000 sessions in two decades. He has also mentored the transplant program at Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida, with remarkable success.

 

An expert interventionalist, Dr. Bhatt has conducted over 1,000 Permcaths and Kidney Biopsies, training numerous nephrologists in techniques like AV fistula creation. His academic contributions include training at Oxford, Harvard, and other global centers, and over 20 publications in international journals, with his innovative Daratumumab-based desensitization protocol recently showcased at the World Congress of Nephrology.

 

Dr. Bhatt’s dedication to community service is evident in his daily charitable Kidney OPDs at Holy Family Hospital, regular clinics at SVM Dharmawala (Dehradun), and health camps across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. His outreach in Uttarakhand’s remote areas earned him the Sewa Ratna award, and he was honored as Best Nephrologist of 2022.
